WE ARE ELECTRIC HUMAN BEINGS
All this wonders of modern life run on the basis of an amazing phenomenon called Electromagnetic Energy. We are surrounded by this energy and our life is dependent on this energy.
Robert O. BECKER, the father of Electrotherapy, proves with his work that living organisms show a direct current of electric charge, which is measurable from their body surface. Even more interesting, whenever a wound occurs, there is a current leak that creates a short circuit in this DC current, so the wound healing current goes by semiconduction. He also pointed out the fact that the perineural system is sensitive to magnetic fields.
The German physician, Franz Anton MESMER, seems to be another outcast of mainstream science. According to his only disciple, he understood health as the free flow of the process of life through thousands of channels (meridians) in our bodies.
Illness was caused by obstacles to this flow, and this matches the Oriental systems description of chakras, meridians, and Qi-energy, also known as Chi or Prana.
Mesmer started by using magnets in order to restore that flow, but later on, he realized that the use of his bare hands could make the same effect.
In the QI-Training leading the Energy, by using the mental focus, throughout the Energychannels within the body is the key to health.
EVERY ORGAN OF OUR BODY HAS ITS OWN MAGNETIC FIELD, EVEN EVERY CELL
The adult body is comprised of more than 70 trillion individual cells, and that’s not counting the millions of bacteria we carry in our gut. Each of those trillions of cells carries out several thousand metabolic processes every second. In order for that level of complexity to function smoothly, there must be a great deal of communication between and within these trillions of cells. Thankfully, our cells are programmed for this type of communication, and are able to make changes in a fraction of a second when necessary.
The human body produces complex electrical activity in several different types of cells, including neurons, endocrine, and muscle cells – all called “excitable cells”. As all electricity does, this activity also creates a magnetic field.
The biomagnetic fields of the body, though extremely tiny, have been measured with techniques including magnetoencephalography (MEG) and magnetocardiography (MCG). These techniques measure the magnetic fields produced by the electrical activity in the body.
ENOUGH OF TALKING SCIENCE – GET INTO PRACTICE
“Conventional medical science has been so busy creating new technologies for treating disease that we have forgotten about caring for health. In the West we incorrectly believe that health care and medicine are the same thing. While we in the West have a truly fantastic, though very expensive, system based on treating people after they are sick, China has a profoundly remarkable and quite inexpensive system of health care based on keeping people well.” Dr. Roger Jahnke.
QIGONG AS MEDICINE
All Qigong Practice can be called medical, because the practice of it directly benefits health and body function. It belongs to a „new“ cathegory of exercises called “moving meditation” (or what Harvard Medical School calls “moving medication”) which combines movement, breathing, awareness. In the QI-Training we learn how to strengthen the energy flow and how to use the energy to nourish and clean our body.
The Breathing Teachniques and Inner Alchemy (Neidan Gong) encourage health, growth, restoration, digestion, and vitality mainly through modulation of the autonomic nervous system. Qigong helps with a variety of health issues, including quality of life, inflammation and immune function, psychological symptoms, and cardiovascular disorders, to name a few.
From a physiological standpoint, Qigong practice puts the body into a state of relaxation and regeneration.
ENERGY IS THE SOURCE OF ALL LIFE – IT’S FLOW THE KEY TO HEALTH
